Almost done!

Almost done! We started assembly friday night, it's now saturday AM and we are about to start again

Moment of truth! It took us a few tries to get the cam timing right, we had to use the left side flywheel marks.

Once we started it up, there was a lot of noise from the right side, sounded like a supercharger running, oops! there's another bad gear or bearing. We pulled the clutch out and started it up, still had noice..

Pulled the side cover off, and started it up, no noise! It's the water pump! water pump rebuild kit on order. I'm not sure if it's the gear that's making all the noise, or the bearing. Everything that is run off that balance shaft got messed up, I eyeballed and felt the bearing, and it did all feel good, but it sure does not sound good.
